Shaygan Kheradpir Returns To The Technology Industry With Coriant
The technology industry has recently seen the return to the boardroom of one of its best known figures in the shape of Shaygan Kheradpir. Fierce Telecom reports Kheradpir has been handed the role of CEO at technology startup Coriant, which has been growing at a rapid rate since being spun out of the telecommunications giant Nokia. Coriant is a supplier and developer of wired and wireless telecommunications transference, which has see it recently look to develop technology for the transition to 4G and 5G mobile networks.
Shaygan Kheradpir will bring a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the role following his almost 30 years working as an executive in the technology industry. The former GTE Labs executive is credited with developing many of the standard operating procedures used by companies across the technology industry, including the many different options for completing the development of new technologies within a business structure.
Although research and development were the major areas Kheradpir made his name within the chance to extend his business skills to different areas of the technology industry. One of the areas that brought Shaygan Kheradpir to the attention of the industry as a whole was his work developing the information technology department of Verizon, which saw him lower costs to far below the industry standard despite the company remaining one of the larges in the U.S. Leading the technological advances made at the financial giant Barclays also led Kheradpir to a higher level of success.
All the skills and successes Shaygan Kheradpir has been credited with have prepared for his latest opportunity to take on the difficult role of finding success as the CEO of Coriant. The role will see Kheradpir take over the daily running of Coriant from Pat DiPietro who will continue to work as the vice chairman of the company and return to his development role at Marlin Equity Partners.
