Dr. Mark Holterman Wants To Fight Against Childhood Disease

Dr. Mark Holterman has made a career out of giving children the medical attention they need. It’s through his work and research that progress towards better healthcare for young people emerges. While there are other pediatricians, none seem to have gotten the same level of respect that he has and few have the same determination. Holterman has a unique drive towards doing what he believes is best for medicine as a whole (Doctor.WebMD). Now, he wants to shift his research and energy towards trouble on the horizon. He understands that children today face many epidemics and he plans on doing something about it now.

The most disturbing trend Holterman sees today is in the eating habits of our youth. Young people today are eating more sugar and exercising much less than generations before. He wants to combat the potential outcome of this by encouraging young people to exercise more often and eat better foods. The effects of these programs on childhood diabetes and other illnesses have been proven to be very efficient. More children are now getting themselves in the right position before something horrible happens. The training camp is helping but it certainly shouldn’t be the only one of its kind. Others must copy in order for this to work as it should.

Dr. Mark Holterman has spent years researching childhood disease and he understands exactly what seems to be the biggest sources of danger for our children. He’s done more than anybody else to help provide children with the healthy futures they deserve by giving them the care they need growing up. The current obesity crisis and the rise of diabetes are going to give the future of our children serious peril, but nobody can truly give up hope yet. Whatever can be done to protect them needs to be done as soon as possible. The training camps of Holterman are just one example of possible solutions to the diabetes epidemic. Others are looking at his work and deciding to do something of their own. If these movements take off just like he did, we’ll be able to solve the problem for good.
